Njunjl feels lost on the inside, he feels like he doesnt know where his life is heading. I Think that by him going to school he feels left out and like he doesnt fit in, that's why he is all upset and confused.
njunjul feels like his girragundji (the voice inside of him)has left him and it feels like its just his self in the big wide world now.he feels like that partly because at the start of the book he got bashed by the police for being the colour he is.
I think Rhonda has caused to see himself like this because Rhonda is telling Njunjul that he is no good and that no body loves him because he is black.
Njunjul felt like he could do anything and be anything. He was saying that he could be tall, he could be the wind, he can be the baskteball, or that he could be the ocean. Then he says to himself that he cant be anything of that because he is a blackfulla. I think the police caused him to see himself like this because he was bashed by them for being an aboriginal, and that has caused him to have low confidence and hapiness about being an aboriginal.

I think what made njunjul feel this way is the incident with the police it made feel as though he didnt belong
